Vocational Training and Job Placement (Eastern Zone) :

Vocational Training and Job Placement for ex combatants in Eastern Zone (Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Nuristan). The major aim of the project is to reintegrate 800 ex combatants into civilian life through provision of skill training and job placement assistance.

Vocational Training and Job Placement (South Eastern Zone) :

Vocational Training and Job Placement for ex combatants in South Eastern Zone (Paktia, Paktika, Logar, Khost and Ghaznai). The major aim of the project is to reintegrate 700 ex combatants into civilian life through provision of skill training and job placement assistance.

Small Business Startup and Followup Supports :

Small Business Start up and Follow support for 1100 ex combatants in Eastern region (Nangahar, Kunar, Laghman and Nuristan), South (Kandahar, Zabul, Hilmand and Nimroz), North Eastern region (Kunduz, Baghlan, Badkhshan, Takhar) and Central Highlands (Bamyan and Dehkondi). The project aims to provide 1100 ex-combatants with Small Business Start up and follow up support to enable them to start their own businesses/enterprises leading to income generation and self reliance. In order to achieve the above mentioned objective BEST is providing training facilities and required training supplies. It is also facilitating the development of feasible business ideas and ensuring the development of business plans development by trainees.
